About Qin Wang
Qin Wang, Acupuncturist
In 2014, my father suffered a debilitating stroke, and I found myself at a crossroads in my life. With a Master's degree in philosophy and years of experience in the software industry, I thought I understood the rhythms of life. But witnessing my father's struggles, I began to research every available medical resource, combining Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine with physical therapy, hoping to help him recover as quickly and effectively as possible. That is when everything changed. I realized I needed to learn more, not just for him, but for others like him. In 2015, I began my apprenticeship in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing. For four years, I studied under a master physician, immersing myself in the delicate balance of acupuncture, herbal medicine, moxibustion, cupping, and therapeutic massage. The more I learned, the more I felt the power of Traditional Chinese Medicine as a form of transformation.
Since 2019, I have worked in both the fast-paced community clinic and the tranquility of a holistic healing center, helping patients manage pain, reduce stress, and rediscover a sense of balance in their lives. In 2024, I received my diploma from the NCCAOM and came to the United States from Beijing. In 2025, I obtained my license as a licensed acupuncturist in Maryland. Today, I practice medicine with scientific rigor and deep compassion. I firmly believe that healing is not just about relieving symptoms, but about restoring a person's entire body and mind.
